Public Hearing Notice
The Committee on Public Property and Public Works of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at 1:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items:
140515 .... An Ordinance amending Chapter 16-800 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Philadelphia Affordable Housing Opportunity Zones," by designating the Cecil B. Moore Housing Opportunity Zones pursuant to the 1500 New Affordable Housing Units Initiative, all under certain terms and conditions.
140516 .... An Ordinance establishing a new Chapter of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Philadelphia Affordable Workforce Housing Opportunity Zones," authorizing the designation of the City in whole or in part as a Workforce Housing Opportunity Zone; establishing definitions; and authorizing disposition of publicly-owned zone properties for nominal consideration, all under certain terms and conditions.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Public Property and Public Works, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
Copies of the foregoing items are available in the Office of the Chief Clerk of the Council, Room 402, City Hall.
