On May 29, 2013, the PA State Board of Veterinary Medicine suspended for two years, stayed in favor of six months active suspension and 18 months probation the license of Mohamed Ali Hammed license no. BV003968, of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, and assessed a civil penalty of $5,000 for failing to maintain veterinary medical records, engaging in incompetence, gross negligence or other malpractice and dispensing expired drugs.
