Public Hearing Notice
The Committee on the Environment of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at 2:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items:
150198 .... An Ordinance amending Chapter 10-700 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Refuse and Littering," to clarify the obligations of certain places of business that sell food to provide waste and recycling bins for use by their patrons, under certain terms and conditions.
150217 .... An Ordinance amending Subcode PM of Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "The Philadelphia Property Maintenance Code," by amending Section PM-308, entitled "Rubbish and Garbage," to add requirements relating to provision of containers for, and disposal of, rubbish, garbage and recycling materials, under certain terms and conditions.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on the Environment, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
Copies of the foregoing items are available in the Office of the Chief Clerk of the Council, Room 402, City Hall.
