Sealed bids will be received electronically through PennBid by the Township of Springfield for SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP CONTRACT NO. 15501 FIRE HOUSE CONDENSING BOILER REPLACEMENT, until 11:00 AM, prevailing time, on Friday the 8th day of May 2015 at which time they will be publicly read at the Springfield Township, 50 Powell Road, Springfield, PA 19064. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
This project involves the removal of the existing and installation of a condensing boiler, hot water pump and expansion tank.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, and to waive any informality in a bid as they deem for the best interest of the Township of Springfield.
