Public Hearing Notice
The Committee on Law and Government of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at 1:30 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items:
140724 .... An Ordinance providing for the submission to the qualified electors of the City of Philadelphia of an amendment to The Philadelphia Home Rule Charter establishing and defining the responsibilities of the International Trade and Investment Authority; fixing the date of a special election for such purpose; prescribing the form of ballot questions to be voted on; and authorizing the appropriate officers to publish notice and to make arrangements for the special election.
150216 .... An Ordinance providing for the submission to the qualified electors of the City of Philadelphia of an amendment to The Philadelphia Home Rule Charter establishing and defining the responsibilities of the Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Affairs; fixing the date of a special election for such purpose; prescribing the form of ballot questions to be voted on; and authorizing the appropriate officers to publish notice and to make arrangements for the special election.
140735 .... Resolution proposing an amendment to The Philadelphia Home Rule Charter to provide for the creation, appointment, powers and duties of an International Trade and Investment Authority, with the authority to establish a fund to attract overseas investment, and providing for the submission of the amendment to the electors of Philadelphia.
150225 .... Resolution proposing an amendment to The Philadelphia Home Rule Charter to provide for the creation of an Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Affairs, to provide for the powers and duties of such Office, and to otherwise provide for incorporation of the Office into the City government; and providing for the submission of the amendment to the electors of Philadelphia.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Law and Government, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
