Public Hearing Notice
The Committee on Licenses and Inspections of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at 1:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items:
150266 .... An Ordinance amending Chapter 9-3900 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Property Licenses and Owner Accountability," by adding definitions and providing for the transition from housing inspection licenses to rental licenses in 2015; and amending Subcode "F" of Title 4, entitled "The Philadelphia Fire Code," to remove the exception to payment of the high-rise inspection fee for certain occupancies; all under certain terms and conditions.
150275 .... An Ordinance amending Subcode "A" of Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "The Philadelphia Administrative Code," by amending Chapter 3 entitled "Permits"; amending Chapter 6 entitled "Fines"; and amending Chapter 9 entitled "Fees"; all under certain terms and conditions.
150276 .... An Ordinance amending Chapter 10-700 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Refuse and Littering," by amending Section 10-701 entitled "Definitions," amending the definition of debris, and by amending Section 10-710, entitled " Dumping of Debris and Short Dumping," by providing that debris generated from construction activity be placed in construction dumpsters, all under certain terms and conditions.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Licenses and Inspections, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
