PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development (the "Authority") will hold a public hearing on July 16, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in its office located at 1500 Market Street, 2600 Centre Square West Tower, Philadelphia, PA 19102-2126 to consider a proposed plan of financing involving the issuance of its revenue bonds (the "Bonds"), to finance the following project: A. Owner of Financed Facilities: Nueva Esperanza, Inc. (the "Foundation") will be the owner/prime tenant of the Project Location (as defined below) pursuant to a long-term lease from 4261 Corporation. B. Maximum Principal Amount of Bonds: Up to $32,000,000. C. Location of Financed Facilities: 4231-4261 N. 5th St., 301 W. Hunting Park Ave., 404 W. Bristol Street and 300 W. Bristol Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (collectively the "Project Location") D. Nature of the Financed Facilities: The proceeds of the Bonds will be used by the Foundation to (i) acquire a long-term leasehold interest in and to the Project Location and the buildings thereon (collectively the "Facilities"), (ii) fund certain renovations and improvements thereto, including the construction of an education center, community gymnasium, cultural performance space and parking facilities so that the Foundation may use the Facilities for its own use and to sublease portions thereof to Nueva Esperanza Academy Charter School (for use in its 6 through 12th grade charter school), Nueva Cyber Charter School, North Philadelphia Workforce Development Corporation and other tenants, (iii) fund a debt service reserve fund in connection with the Bonds, and (iv) payment of the costs of issuance of the Bonds (collectively the "Project") The public is invited to attend to express their views, which may either be provided orally at the hearing or may be submitted in writing at the Authority's address listed above, concerning the proposed issuance of the Bonds and the location and nature of the Financed Facilities. This notice is published in accordance with, and the public hearing is held by PAID as required by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and regulations promulgated thereunder.
