Public Hearing Notice
The Committee on Streets and Services of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, May 12, 2014, at 12:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items:
130849 .... An Ordinance repealing an Ordinance (Bill No. 130449) entitled "An Ordinance authorizing Atul Amin, owner and operator of the newsstand located on the southeast corner of 17th and JFK Blvd, to construct, use and maintain conduits in, under and across the southeast corner of 17th and JFK Blvd for the purpose of supplying electrical service and telephone service to the newsstand, under certain terms and conditions," and authorizing Atul Amin, owner and operator of the newsstand located on the northwest corner of 17th and JFK Blvd, to construct, use and maintain conduits in, under and across the northwest corner of 17th and JFK Blvd for the purpose of supplying electrical service and telephone service to the newsstand, under certain terms and conditions.
140342 .... An Ordinance authorizing the revision of lines and grades on a portion of City Plan No. 258 by relocating the southeasterly houseline of Tacony Street, from a point approximately one-thousand seven-hundred fifty-seven feet northeast of Bridge Street to a point approximately six-hundred seventy-four feet further northeastwardly therefrom, a variable distance southeastwardly and relocating the southeasterly curbline of Tacony Street, from a point approximately one-thousand five-hundred forty-two feet northeast of Bridge Street to a point approximately nine-hundred ninety-two feet further northeastwardly therefrom, a variable distance southeastwardly and authorizing acceptance of the grant to the City of certain easement areas for public pedestrian use and for traffic signage and signals and equipment adjacent to the southeasterly side of said Tacony Street, all under certain terms and conditions.

140349 .... An Ordinance amending Section 9-213 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Farmers' Markets," by adding West Allegheny Avenue between Bambrey and 26th Streets as a permissible location, all under certain terms and conditions.
140351 .... An Ordinance authorizing Sanjay Patel, owner and operator of the newsstand located on the southeast corner of 13th and Filbert Streets, to construct, use and maintain conduits in, under and across the southeast corner of 13th and Filbert Streets for the purpose of supplying electrical service and telephone service to the newsstand, under certain terms and conditions.
140352 .... An Ordinance authorizing Moonshine Philly ("Owner") to construct, own and maintain an open-air sidewalk café at 1825 E. Moyamensing Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148 ("Property"), under certain terms and conditions.
140353 .... An Ordinance authorizing Narottam M. Parmar, owner and operator of the newsstand located on the north side of Washington Avenue from 821 Washington Avenue to
801 Washington Avenue, to construct, use and maintain conduits in, under and across the north side of Washington Avenue from 821 Washington Avenue to 801
Washington Avenue for the purpose of supplying electrical service and telephone
service to the newsstand, under certain terms and conditions.
140378 .... An Ordinance authorizing Wishbone Restaurant, LLC ("Owner") to construct, own and maintain an open-air sidewalk café at 4034 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 ("Property"), under certain terms and conditions.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Streets and Services, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
