NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development (the "Authority") will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the offices of the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation located at 1500 Market Street, Suite 2600 West, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19102, concerning the issuance by the Authority of (a) an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $25,000,000 in tax-exempt multifamily housing revenue bonds, the proceeds of which are to be used to fund a portion of the costs of acquiring, rehabilitating and equipping (including a plan of financing) a residential rental housing project for seniors consisting of two buildings with approximately 268 residential rental units and non-housing facilities that are functionally related and subordinate to the project, including, but not limited to, parking and other necessary, convenient or desirable facilities and infrastructures, expected to be known as Ephraim Goldstein Apartments, located on two contiguous parcels at 724 Byberry Road and 12003 Bustleton Avenue, respectively, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19116-2152, and (b) an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $17,000,000 in tax-exempt multifamily housing revenue bonds, the proceeds of which are to be used to fund a portion of the costs of acquiring, constructing and equipping (including a plan of financing) a residential rental housing project for seniors consisting of one building with approximately 180 residential rental units and non-housing facilities that are functionally related and subordinate to the project, including, but not limited to, parking and other necessary, convenient or desirable facilities and infrastructures, expected to be known as Robert Saligman House, located at 8900 Roosevelt Boulevard Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19115-5060. The initial owner, operator or manager of each project will be Federation Housing, Inc.
At the public hearing, members of the public may appear in person or by attorney to provide information and make statements concerning the proposed project financings. This Notice is published in accordance with the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.
